- Wash daily: take a bath or a shower each day helps to decrease the quantity of bacteria which are formed on the skin and that contribute to the bad smell released by sweat.
- Dry throughly in order to avoid the growth of bacteria and fungus which tend to proliferate on a wet skin.
Drink a lot to help prevent the consequences of perspiration
Drink a lot of water to compensate for the loss of water caused by perspiration and to avoid dehydration.Shoes and socks
- Change shoes every day: alternate shoes allowing them to dry out in between wearing them especially if perspiration is a problem on the feet.
- Change socks at least daily: it is advisable to carry a spare pair of socks around with you in order to change them if necessary.

- Choose natural materials for clothing (cotton, wool, silk) which allow the skin to breathe.
- Wear loose clothing.

- Think of light-coloured clothing, which makes perspiration less visible.
